Belstaff Wax Dressing

Wax Dressing for Belstaff Jackets

Proper Care for Your Belstaff Garment

Belstaff garments are built to last, but like all of us, they need a little care and attention to keep them looking their best. Proper care and treatment of your waxed cotton garment will ensure its longevity. Here are some tips on how to care for your Belstaff waxed cotton and leather items.

Waxed Cotton

All waxed garments must be treated regularly to ensure that they remain waterproof. Belstaff recommends using their Wax Dressing to reproof your waxed cotton jacket. To use the Wax Dressing, remove dirt and dust from the fabric with clean water and a damp cloth. To soften the wax slightly, put the tin in hot water. Apply the Wax Dressing to the garment using a sponge or brush. Allow the garment to dry naturally. For more detailed instructions, please refer to the care label on your garment.

Leather

Leather is a natural material that requires special care to keep it looking its best. Belstaff recommends using their Leather Cream to clean and condition your leather jacket. To use the Leather Cream, apply a small amount to a clean cloth and rub it into the leather in a circular motion. Allow the cream to dry naturally. For more detailed instructions, please refer to the care label on your garment.

General Care

In addition to using the proper care products, there are a few general things you can do to care for your Belstaff garment. Store your garment in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid exposing your garment to harsh chemicals or detergents. If your garment gets wet, allow it to dry naturally. Do not tumble dry your garment.

By following these simple tips, you can help to ensure that your Belstaff garment will last for many years to come.
